Yellowstone

These photos was taken in Yellowstone National Park, by the Yellowstone lake in one of the thermal locations. It shows how the different colors the ground has changed from the site and how the sulfur affected different areas then others by the colors.  You can see across the lake to the other side how calm the water is compared to what is happening at the location I was at. 
I used my Samsung phone to capture the scene, Aperture was F1.9, the focus length was 4.30 mm, ISO 40, Exposure time was 1/1488 s

Geysers that are under the water that can either be active or not. The picture is taken at an angle to get the idea of how close they are to the surface but are still dormant for the time being. The water near the geyser openings is calm but further out the waves are more active.
